چکیده
This study was carried out to determine the effects of replacement wheat flour with middling (WM) and supplemental phosphorus at a level 1% on growth nutrient utilization, whole body, fillet, viscera liver proximate compositions in turbot, (Scophthalmus maximus Linnaeus, 1758). The control diet based mixture three fish meals flour. Fish an average initial weight 266.67±0.72 g were fed experimental diets for 9 weeks. Each treatment tried four replicates. At end experiment, there no significant rate, utilization parameters such as feed intake, conversion ratio, protein efficiency nitrogen, lipid energy gains retentions, hepato-somatic index, viscero-somatic condition factor, body (except dry matter which significantly lower P added than control) organ compositions. findings suggest that WM can totally replace is tendency positive contribution dietary supplementation response variables.

Distribution Th e turbot, Scophthalmus maximus, also called Psetta maxima (Scophthalmidae, Pleuronectiformes), is naturally distributed in European waters, from Northeast Atlantic to the Arctic Circle (30o to 70oN; 23oW42oE). It occurs in the Baltic and in the Mediterranean, as well as in the Black Sea, where a subspecies Psetta maxima maeotica has been described (1). It also exists in the Sout...

This study aimed to elucidate the influence of environment pH on survival, growth, energy allocation and oxidative damage of juvenile Scophthalmus maximus (19.89±0.25 g). Six pH treatments (6.3±0.2、6.8±0.2、7.3±0.2、7.8±0.2、8.3±0.2、8.8±0.2) lasting for eight weeks were included. Measurements of survival (SR), feed conversion ratio (FCR), specific growth rate (SGR), weight gain rate (WGR), energy ...

متن کاملProtein digestion in juvenile turbot Scophthalmus / maximus and effects of dietary administration of Vibrio proteolyticus
The trial was made to study the protein digestion in juvenile turbot during passage of digesta from stomach to rectum. Moreover, diet supplementation with the potential probiotic bacteria, Vibrio proteolyticus, was evaluated with regard to protein digestion. For a 3-week period, fish Ž . 25–30 g were fed by oral intubation and received either a liquid mixture consisting of 40% nonpurified contr...
متن کاملSystemic disease in turbot Scophthalmus maximus
A new group of Cytophaga-like bacteria has been recovered from healthy and diseased turbot in Scotland. Cultures produced orange colonies and contained short rods with distinctively thick cell walls. Gliding movement was observed and the guanine plus cytosine ratio of the DNA was 31.7 to 32.1 mols %. The organism caused gill hyperplasia and systemic haemorrhagic septicaemia in both naturally di...
